If you’re a seasoned Podcast Listener – this podcast is going to be different from most you listen to. It’s based around exactly what the name implies – Warehouse Safety Tips. And since the people in that industry are busy – we know time is money, so each episode will be as short and to the point as possible.

And now that all that is out of the way – let’s get to the Podcast!

In one of our previous episodes, we spoke about never assuming when it comes to safety.

If you work in a facility that contains AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) this is especially true.

AGVs follow either a guided wire placed in the ground or tape to do automated tasks. In addition to following a specific path, these AGV’s also have sensors that detect items in their path. When this occurs, they’re supposed to give an audible warning and/or stop. But, as with everything – things don’t always go as planned. Keeping in mind that you should always assume all vehicles cannot see you – these AGV’s are no different.

Be sure to stay clear of the paths these AGV’s travel on – and if you do have to work in their path, watch and listen for them.
